External auditory canal osteoma: a case report

<p>External auditory canal (EAC) osteomas are rare, solitary benign unilateral lesion. Small lesions incidentally diagnosed and larger produce symptoms of pain, ear discharge defective hearing. Diagnosis is made based on a combination clinical history examination, radiographic imaging, histopathology. They usually confused with exostosis which multiple, bilateral, smooth-bordered, broad-based without deep extension. We present case 21-year-old male patient who came to our outpatient department, complaints left blocking sensation for past 6 months. On evaluation, it was as EAC osteoma the same excised via post-auricular approach. This being presented its rarity</p>
